The Cost ($2117 for Undergraduates) Includes:• Round-trip travel from the Charles de Gaulle airport to the hotel• Accommodations in double rooms at a Parisian hotel• Breakfast daily, a welcome and farewell dinner• A subway pass• Tickets to all sites• An on-site orientation• Pre-departure materials• Computer and internet access at the hotel and API Center

The Class Consists Of:

• 4 or 5 online lectures (20 minutes each)• Online documentaries (45 -55 minutes each)• Two Textbooks:• African Americans in the City of Light by Tyler Stovall• Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin

• 4 or 5 papers (depending on whether you receive 2 or 3 credits)• Four are 3-4 pages each for students getting 2 credits.• Students receiving 3 credits must write an addition 8-10 page paper that is

due before the spring semester ends.• The deadlines on the papers are flexible.

Baker’s homes in suburban Paris, Eiffel Tower tour• Wednesday March 4 – Breakfast, Black art tour at the Louvre, Boat cruise

of River Seine• Thursday March 5 – Breakfast, Versailles Palace tour, free evening• Friday March 6 – Breakfast, Free Travel Day• Saturday March 7 – Breakfast, Tour of Paris Parliament, dinner• Sunday - Departure
