• 20% of their GDP is Agriculture, 25% Industry, and 55% Services
• 78.6% of workers work in Agriculture, 5.7% in Industry, and 15.7% work in services
• Unemployment rate of 35% in 2008 (down from 40% in 2005)

Economy: Exports Afghanistan’s main exports include Opium, fruits,
hand-woven carpets, wool, cotton, and other high quality textiles
Export mainly to Pakistan, but also to India, Russia, and Iran.
They export around $376 Million, but import $6.39 Billion• Import machines, food, oil
The Afghanistan government cut their debt in half from 2008 to 2011. ($2.7 billion to $1.28 billion)
