Denihan and Affinia Manhattan implemented Duetto Edge, a cloud-based revenue strategy application, and also leveraged Duetto’s Customer Success Team to implement a more comprehensive approach to their revenue strategy. Through its sophisticated user interface and visual reporting tools, Duetto Edge enabled management and staff to look at their data in a new way, and utilize better information to drive their decision-making. With easy access to better data they were able to yield higher rates with more confidence, as well as make smarter decisions on length of stay restrictions, group business, distribution channels and more. Additionally, hotel staff was able to easily access the system via a web browser or mobile device, which enabled increased cooperation.

The Duetto solution began to be implemented in September 2013, and has increased revenue metrics across the board “immediately and dramatically” according to Denihan EVP & Chief Customer Officer Tom Botts. Additionally, in just one night – New Year’s Eve 2013 – the system paid for itself for the entire year, increasing total revenue for the night by $56,000 or 24% from 2012.
