AERO• AERO-FLEX is a Pre-Apprenticeship for the

Aerospace Industry that creates a career pathway for individuals interested in engineering and builds a workforce pipeline for employers.

FLEX• The Pre-Apprenticeship has a focus on

Advanced Manufacturing for the aerospace industry and includes the ability for Employers to select curriculum and “FLEX” it for their specific needs.

At request of employers, Aero-Flex will be dually registered with U.S. DOL and CA Division of Apprenticeship Standards

Funded by the California Apprenticeship Initiative grant through the CA Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office for development of the apprenticeship and 19 apprentices

Employers wanted multiple on ramps including rising senior in college, current engineering technician, veterans, etc.

Community Colleges are identifying credit RSI/RTI opportunities in partnership with ToolingU-SME
