Sentence: When my little brother pretends he is on the phone, he will babble.

Sentence: The scent of the flower was interesting to our dog.

Definition: A person who travels without planning where he or she is going.

Sentence: A man who wanders through the desert without water is foolish.

Definition: Gave a long, high cry.

Sentence: The tired baby whined because he missed his nap.

Definition: To do what you are told to do.

Sentence: Some pets will obey their owner’s every command.

Definition: To show how it works or how it is done.

Sentence: Teachers will often demonstrate a skill before they ask students to do it.

Definition: To go through an area with the purpose of guarding it.

Sentence: The officers often patrol our neighborhood on bicycles.
