Aegialis Hotel & Spa offers to its guests many activities both on the premises and around the special island of Amorgos creating opportunities to get to know more about Amorgos, its people and traditions, enchancing the enjoyment of your stay.

Guests are guided to the hotel organic vegetable garden to collect their own vegetables and can taste all local healthy dishes prepared in the kitchen of Ambrosia Gallery restaurant, which is a member of Aegean Cuisine. They can also take cooking lessons of local recipes. Ambrosia Gallery restaurant always hosts painting and photo exhibitions and has a permanent sculpture exhibition with hand-made items, collected by the owners of the hotel.

Hiking tours, donkey rides and herbal collections are organized in the historical old paths of the Island so visitors can discover the important cultural heritage of the island (museums, archaeological sites, byzantine monasteries, agricultural villages, abandonned villages), meet the wonderful ancient paths and learn about all the aromatic and medicinal herbs of Amorgos (famous since the antiquity).

Local guides show the visitors all the traditional agricultural activities going on, depending of the season, like olive picking, grape harvesting, "raki" and wine production, land cultivation, animal breeding and cheese production.
