1. How does the funding system in Ontario work for daycares? What is the process and are there any plans for improvement?

2. What steps is the current government taking to provide more funding and how are these steps different from the previous government?

3. Ontario is a rich province, yet why isn’t it making childcare more accessible and available like Manitoba and Quebec?

4. Why is Childcare so underestimated while in order for parents to work and help the economy grow, they need a place for their children or they will wither end up staying home on welfare, one parent working or they send their children to low quality daycares that won’t be able to meet their children’s developmental needs?

5. Is the process of subsidy any shorter for families with special needs?6. What are the few proposals from current government that could be a hope for

parents and Daycare providers tomorrow?7. Is the current government planning to support ECE’s like other school board

teachers by providing them with higher salaries or benefits?8. If someone’s application is rejected and he or she appeals for it how long is the

process?9. If a child started kindergarten half day, will child still get the subsidy?
