Background

Initially, Costing estimates the cost of priorities for each goal within the MDG.

This is not enough to consolidate the investment of the national government. Therefore, it is necessary to articulate costing to planning and budgetary processes trough GRB.

Define specific interventions or actions that can be carried out by public instances to close gender gaps and promote equality between women and men, clearly defining the target population and taking into consideration different scenarios.

The effectiveness of public action in reducing poverty.The efficiency of public spending.Compliance with standards and laws on gender equality.Defines the specific cost of the interventions making a

projection of the cost depending on the years of intervention of the action and depending on the objective of reducing inequality gaps.

Proposing implementation costs of Laws, Policies and Plans.Articulates the Costing Process with the political actions of

the GRB.
