Find the Fib

• Directions for students:

• List 2 facts and 1 fib on the dry erase board (or paper).

Find the Fib Example

A. I won an award for the best of show for raising goats in high school.

B. I danced on stage with the Village People (YMCA song...)

C. I was interviewed by a Canadian Radio Talk Show last year.

Directions

Student 1 reads his “Facts and fib”.

Rest of group writes down what they think is the fib.

Go around the group sharing which statement you chose as a fib and why.

Student 1 says which was the false statement.

Continue each round with students 2, 3, and 4.
