Page 5: Advertising structures

• Definition: Abstract is where it doesn’t represent reality but it is experimental creative and artistic.

• Purpose: This advert is too show that the new Sony has colour like no other TV.

• Mise En Scene: The paint that explodes represents that the new Sony TV colour explodes out of your screen where it is so good. It is set in what looks like a council estate and it is dull and boring but where they add the paint it shows that whatever the programme is even if it’s a really old programme the colour will still be really good.

• Target Audience: As it is a new TV it will cost a bit of money, so it will be for anyone who can afford it. Also I believe it would be targeted at families as they want a really good TV that is colourful for the kids but also good quality for when the whole family want to watch TV.
