Present ADVENTURES IN HARMONY “Young Women’s Edition” September 28, 2016 7:30 pm Zeeland High Auditorium This activity is made possible by the Barbershop Harmony Society, underwritten in part by Harmony Foundation International and its generous donors Sandra Snow, Michigan State University Professor of Choral Conducting and Music Education As conductor, teacher, and scholar, Sandra Snow’s work spans a wide variety of ages, abilities, and music. She holds appointments in conducting and music education at the MSU College of Music, where she interacts with undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of conducting, choral pedagogy, and choral singing. As guest conductor, she travels extensively conducting all-state and honor choirs and holding residencies with singers of all ages. EXPERIENCE THE ENERGY! 250 young women from six area high schools plus women from the Holland Chorale and Hope College acapella group Luminescence will spend the day singing together and learning from clinician Sandra Snow. At 7:30 p.m. that evening they will present a concert for the public. Admission is free but free-will donations will be gratefully accepted. and
