Potential health effect: ADVANSA PET staple fiber itselfis not hazardous. Nevertheless,a significant level of airborne fibersand mists from residual moisture and
surface lubricants should be avoided.The lubricants on the fiberhave been toxicologicallyevaluated and found to begenerally of low order oftoxicology.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation: Move to fresh air.
Eye contact: Wash eyes with plentyof water. If irritation developsor persists, consult a physician.
Skin contact: After extensive contact or if irrtation occurs.wash skin with soap and water

medical attention

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Should not require special measures for clean-up. Shovel or sweep upfor disposal.A routine cleaning of processing areas is necessary to avoid accumulation of dust.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Technical protective measures: Exposure to fiber fly, dust anddecomposition products of spin finishesshould be avoided by ventilation orvacuum cleaning. Take precautionarymeasures against static discharges.Avoid dust formation in confined areas.During processing, dust may formexplosives in air.
Storage regulations: Keep away from heat and sources ofignition. Store siliconised fibers in abuilding with sprinklers.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
This product can be recycled, disposed off as solid waste in landfills, or burnedin suitable installations subject to local regulations.

PET fibers are not classified as dangerous good compared with UN, ECIATA or any derived organization regulations.

As an article, the product does not need to be labeled in accordance with ECdirectives or respective national rules.
