About the Conference ICAAS-2018 aims to provide a forum for interaction and exchange of ideas among scientists, engineers and young researchers actively involved in the area of analytical sciences and related technologies. ICAAS-2018 spans an extensive range of exciting sessions from basic research to recent innovations. It is based on learning and sharing knowledge on current research and the enormous scope of potential applications of analytical sciences and chemistry through discussions about the latest advances in the field. The main theme of the conference is “Exploring Advances and Applications of Analytical Sciences”. ICAAS 2018 is providing an opportunity to chemists of all stripes and colors to share their research by discussing the latest advances in Analytical Sciences in the fields of Crude oil and petroleum products, Petrochemical/Polymers, Alternative and Renewable energy sources, Catalysts, Medicine, Materials, Natural products, Nanomaterials, Environment, Forensic etc. Sub Themes

Invited lectures: The conference shall have invited lectures from eminent and

renowned scientists from India and abroad involved in the development of analytical sciences. Besides, there will be Oral and Poster presentations from the contributory abstracts. Young researchers pursuing their Ph.D. or Post-doctoral work shall be provided with an opportunity to present their research findings. Please note that there shall be Best Paper awards for the oral and poster Sessions, again selected by a group of experts.

Call for Abstracts: Professionals from industry and academic / research

institutions actively working in the areas mentioned above are invited to

participate in the conference and share their research findings & ideas. Authors

desirous of presenting papers in the conference are requested to submit the

abstract of their papers to kapurgs@indianoil.in before February 15, 2018 in

MS word format. Abstracts of technical paper should cover details of research

work within 300 words (Maximum One Page with no figures).

About ISAS-Delhi Chapter Indian Society of Analytical Scientists-Delhi Chapter (ISAS-DC) with its head Office at IOC R&D Centre, Faridabad, is a multi-disciplinary body whose major functions are to organize Symposiums/ workshops on various topics on analytical sciences relevant to academics and industry. More than 50 conference / workshop / seminar have been organized by ISAS-DC since its inception.

About the CSIR-IIP CSIR-IIP, an ISO 9001:2008 institute, is a national laboratory under CSIR which carries out research and development for energy & fuel sector that includes hydrocarbons, biofuels, advanced materials etc. CSIR-IIP has developed and transferred more than fifty technologies to industry, in the area of petroleum refining, natural gas, petrochemicals, chemicals and utilization of petroleum products.

About Dehradun Dehradun is in the Doon valley on the foothills of the Himalayas nestled between the river of Ganga on the East and the river Yamuna on the west. The city is famous for its picturesque landscape and slightly milder climate and provides a gateway to the surrounding region. It is well connected and in proximity to Himalayan tourist destination.
