Pre-Meet (TM)• Team Connect Online – get latest update of your
team’s database. Who is the admin “gate keeper”?
• Establish routines & publish timelines for deadlines for parents to provide availability, coaches to provide lineups, how many iterations each week?
• Prepare for Lineup (vacation list, use inactive)• Enter Line-Up (techniques & strategies)– http://atlantaswimming.com/hytek/TofC.asp– Lesson 6
• Relays – don’t forget H/L assignments• Check Line-Up Using MM, multiple iterations
Pre-Meet (MM)• TM Export Full Roster & Entries (multiple
iterations). Import full roster and entries into MM. Use Excel “trick”
• MM Print Roster/Entries, incl. athletes with no entries• Save to Excel file, Sort on swimmer• Eliminate data not needed• =right(A1,5), then copy below• Copy, Paste Special (values) on top of existing data• Sort on entries• Analysis & Actions
• After multiple iterations, run MM reports

Training Exercise1.System Age Up Date (2011 vs. 2012), didn’t use template2.ID format=Australia, Class=College, didn’t use template3. # Lanes (adjust to host pool) 8 lanes in this case vs. 64. Relay Point System (7-4 instead of 7-3), didn’t use template5. Slow-Fast Order (won’t score correctly), didn’t use template6. No max scorers per team set, didn’t use template7. Add 6-u boys B-relay (not illegal, but participation issue)8. Make sure every swimmer in at least 1 relay (no illegal, but participation issue)9.
