The ODU SPRINGTAC® is the most effective contact system on the market. Constant transfer is always guaranteed thanks to the large number of individual, independently flexible springwires. Even with the smallest contact diameter of 0.76 mm, 15 individual springs are still installed, meaning that even this small diameter provides 15 contact surfaces for current transfer. Correspondingly more for larger diameters.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
ODU SPRINGTAC® FLATSOCKETS(FLAT CONTACT WITH SPRINGWIRE TECHNOLOGY)
The Springtac Flatsocket is an example of how an easy compo-nent upgrade can transform an existing roadblock into a robust test solution.
Standard industry flat contacts, also known as blade contacts, are produced by manufacturers to be low cost and typically have a low requirements for repetitive usage.
For an industrial and testing environment where the durability needs to be improved the Springtac Flatsocket meets the require-ments for testing requirement for thousands of mating cycles.
PRODUCT FEATURES:• > 50,000 mating cycles
• Assembly – compatible with existing series insulators and contacts already existing in the market (e.g. the TE AMP Timer)
• Version for 2-point measurement (crimp termination and 4-point measurement = Kelvin measurement (solder termination)
• Ideal for a replaceable connector saver or quick change head for end-of-line testing

The ODU LAMTAC® contact consists of a lathe-turned body in which one or more stamped lamella strips are mounted. The individual bars of the lamella provide numerous contact points which guarantee high contact reliability and optimum conductive properties. The adapted contact force ensures low mating and unmating forces, and a long service life with low wear. When contact oil is used, these properties can be increased. The ODU LAMTAC® contacts are always delivered already lubricated.

ADVANCED CONNECTIONS FOR MANUAL MATINGOVERVIEW OF HOUSINGS WITH SPINDLE LOCKING
In the case of spindle locking, the housings can be equipped with an easy to operate precision locking spindle. The spindle design enables easy opening and closing of the housing with a single turn movement. Only 5 units of space are required for this purpose.
Especially in case of high connection frequency and limited space for locking, the use of precision locking is a preferred option.
Depending upon the application scenario, the mechanisms are designed for up to 30,000 locking cycles. Easy to mount replace-ment sets are available for larger numbers of mating cycles.
