High-performance buildings require the care of a workforce with advanced competencies in operations, maintenance, and energy-related technologies. Training your facility management staff is the most cost effective way to improve efficiency and achieve LEED O+M credits. We will introduce you to the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act (FBPTA), FEDSAT, the Facilities Career Mapping Tool, and Accelerate FM and demonstrate how a competency model can become the foundation for an integrated talent management system that prepares individuals to better manage facilities.
