Stephen Ministry

We at Berean believe in caring

for and serving others as Jesus

has called us to do. One way

we serve is through Stephen

Ministry. Trained Stephen Min-

sters meet one-on-one with a

person who experiencing a

difficult time in his or her life.

A Stephen Minister will listen,

encourage, support and pray.

All relationships are same

gender and confidential.

We have a new class of Stephen

Ministers who will be commis-

sioned in April and will begin

another training class in the fall.

If you are interested in being a

Christian friend to someone

who is struggling, contact us.

would like a Christian friend to

confidentially listen to them and

offer support and encourage-

With a large and vibrant church such as Berean, it is

often difficult to know all that is happening through-

out our church. This new monthly newsletter will

help keep you informed of the ministries, events, and

service opportunities available throughout Adult

Ministries at Berean and beyond.

Our prayer is that you will find places to serve and

connect at Berean so that you may enjoy a deeper

relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Roger and Joanne have been featured speakers at Family Life Conferences for years. Now it is our privilege to have them host The Art of Marriage seminar here at Berean. This two day, DVD based seminar includes topics such as:

the purpose of marriage

isolation

roles

communication

romance and sex

leaving a godly legacy.

We work hard at Berean to help build

stronger and happier marriages. One

of the ways we do this is through

Marriage Mentoring. We have a team

of “seasoned” married couples who

have been trained to come alongside a

couple to provide marriage enrichment

and help you discover healthy ways to

strengthen your marriage.

Marriage Mentors are ideal for engaged

couples, newly married couples, or

those who have been married a while

and want to work towards a stronger

and more fulfilling marriage.

with a Marriage Mentor couple could

be beneficial for your marriage, contact

Employment Coaching

Heart-to-Heart Visitation Ministry

We value our Seniors here at Berean, as well as and members of our congregation who are homebound. Aging or dealing with chronic health issues is difficult and oftentimes lonely. To help address the needs of our homebound congregation, we have launched Heart-to-Heart, our new visitation ministry. We have trained volunteers who visit weekly with people in nursing homes or those whose health issues keep them from coming to church. If you are interested in joining our visitation team or know of some-one who would enjoy a visit from one of our team members, contact Marge Sanborn @ 952.435.9051 or margea@frontiernet.net.
