Adult education must e taken up earnestly and systematically. &uch has been done
in the area of adult education in many #estern countries. In their comparison e
ha!e done !ery little in this field. In the #estern countries adult education has been
made a!ailable to laborer" women and a many ser!ice'class people. Though adult
education they ha!e not been made only literate" but they ha!e also further
de!eloped their professional skills in commerce" industry" technology and science.
They are gi!en free education e!ening and part'time day classes and (ni!ersity
extension classes ha!e been arranged for the benefit of these people. o far we
ha!e been able to do a little in this field.
