The areas in ADP freedom that need information input, are called fields. The fields are colour-coded, and the colour of the field determines whether you can/need to key your information in, or not.

Blue fields - Completing these fields is mandatory. The system will not allow you to save any information, or move to the next page without completing these fields.

Grey fields - These fields are populated and controlled by the system itself, and you cannot input or change any information contained in them.

White fields - Completing these fields is optional, and you do not need to complete them for your data input to be successful.

Need further assistance?

First try…the Common Questions contained in the middle panel of the page by clicking on the relevant question once for the answer. Then, if further help is required…please contact your Human Resources or Personnel team via e-mail.

When you see an arrow pointing downwards next to a field, it indicates that it has a drop-down menu. If you click on the arrow once, a selection of set choices will appear. You can make your selection by clicking on your choice once.

These buttons will turn white if they are available for use. If they are not white, it means you have not actioned anything on the page that requires these options.
