Adopt a Pony!

No Experience Necessary

Introduction to RidingIdeal for those who have little or no experience riding.

Learn how to catch and tack up your pony and some basic horsemanship.

We then make our way into the arena for a riding lesson.

Those 7 years and younger will have their own helper.

Ride the 3 intro lessons 7,8,9 October for $110 (save $10)

Farm Ride

Adult / Child Ride

Do you want to build some special memories with the horse-loving child in your

life? The Parent/ Child Riding Course is a wonderful opportunity to do so at

Clearwater Riding School. The class is not just for parents and their children --

any adult or child can participate. Parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents – it’s a

great experience for the adults as well as the children because they work

together as teams in their horse experience.

Day CampGeneral learn to ride day course course covering the basics of riding and

horsemanship. Learn about care, feeding and grooming of your pony.

Spend time in our arena learning to ride, with the possibility of some

hacking out on the farm.

Ride 3 days within the first week or 3 days within the second week

for $280 (save $20)

Lydia is a Grand Prix World Cup Showjumper and has been coaching riders for the

past 18 years. Lydia’s motivation is seeing the youth of today achieve and succeed

in their passion of horse riding.

Recognised for her ability to read and understand people and horses, Lydia has

an amazing rapport amongst our local riders with many looking up to her with

respect and admiration. Lydia has become a mentor to many in the Taranaki

Area.

This past season Lydia was been selected as the coach for

·    North Taranaki Showhunter Championship Team

·    New Plymouth Pony Club Bruce Forbes Team

·    North Taranaki Showjumping Championship Team

·    Taranaki Area Showjumping Team at Horse of the Year

·    Taranaki Saba Sam Showjumping Team

·    Taranaki Eventing Team

Lydia owns Clearwater Riding School and imparts her knowledge to her students.

She also mentors other young adults who themselves are wishing to become

coaches
