How to set up your sound and mic in an Adobe conference
For a successfully participation in an Adobe teleconference it’s necessary to set up your sound and microphone. Read
on the following step by step tutorial how to do it.

Step 1
Once login to Adobe connect click on the “Meeting” main menu tab
Step 2
From the drop down menu Click on the “Audio Setup Wizard”
Step 3
After click will open the wizard which is a five step procedure.
Step 4
The first step is about audio check. System will play a sound to check your speakers.
Step 5
The second step is about your microphone. Here, if you have more than one microphones, you have to choose the one that will be used during the teleconference.
Step 6
On the third step you’ll test if the chosen microphone is working properly by recording a small speech.
Step 7
On the fourth step the system will check the noise around you in order to tune your microphone.
Step 8
On the final step are presenting all of your choices. If everything is okay, click on “Finish” button to exit the wizard

Next to “Meeting” button are three icons
-The first one is about
sound. From this you can mute your speakers
-The second one is about
your microphone. In order to be able to use it, you must click on the small arrow on the right to 1 activate it. Once you activate your microphone, the icon becomes green and the drop down menu 2 changes and gives two new option: to mute the microphone and to deactivate it. When your microphone is deactivated, the small icon next to your name changes in order to remind you that is temporary out of order.
-The third one is about
interaction. The drop down menu shows some icons which, when one of them be chosen, appears next to your name in order to interact with the presenter. There is also a chat tool on the down-right corner with which you can communicate with other participants and to and questions to presenter, or whatever you want.
