Masters of Public healthPublic health services are helping millions around the world, to safe from illness and injury; by pioneering new research, deploying its knowledge and expertise in the global defense of human life. MPH degree is the most widely recognized professional achievement for leadership and management in public health.
The Masters of Public Health courses at Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, aim to improve human resources development in public and private sectors through education, communication engagement, research and training. The courses target the existing workers and professionals in the health sectors and new intakes to build up a workforce to combat the causes, issues and problems related to public health in modern times. The MPH courses, thus, are meant for individual progress as well as national and global socio development.
Target GroupIn our country there are demands for qualified health professionals and expertise in understanding the causes and prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases. The Programs are primarily targeted at students and professionals who hold bachelor’s degrees in health or medical sciences e.g. nursing, medicine, physiotherapy, psychology, health administration etc.
Admission Requirements• Graduation in any discipline of science , nutrition, nursing , health science, social sciences, anthropology and economics with a grade point average of 2.5 or more on a scale of 4.0.
• Graduation in any discipline with work experiences in health care organization and graduate having M.B.B.S., B.D.S., M.D. or 4 years Bachelors degree in Social Science are preferred.
• No 3rd division.
