Key projects
Apne Bare mein : A comic book to inform girls about MenstruationApne Bare mein is a tool to create awareness about menstruation among girls. It has been designed to develop a positive attitude about menstruation among the users. The tool is in the form of an A3 size leaflet in which medium of comic was used in depicting the information to make it interesting.
Prithavi : An interactive GlobeThe globe enables the users to interact through placement of human shaped plugs which represents certain population on earth . As these plugs are placed in the socket of the globe, the visuals on the screen changes accordingly explaining the journey of earth from Jurassic era to the modern era. The visual depends on the number of plugs placed into the socket on the globe.
Compassionate Nursing CourseThe course trains Nurses about the caretaking side of Nursing such as comforting patients by giving emotional support, hope, and building trust and dignity in the patients. The Course is self explanatory and self paced. A user can follow multiple learning path as per their interest.
Training Material on VSSThe training material trains the inhouse LerningMate employees about the version control systems used called Visual Source Safe. The training material is hosted on LearningMate’s native Learning Management System. This training program is self explanatory where a user understands the importance of using VSS for a project. The technical details are explained by using captivate videos.
Development of PrototypesI have worked on developing prototypes for Indian students (class 6-10) for Zee Interactive Learning, learning material for Sony Aspire for their tablet device and MBBS Consult Course for Elsiver, India.
Research WorkI have conducted research on educational scenario in the Government School, Tribal Education system and e-learning scenario in India.
Learning ActivitiesI have designed various learning activities for different platforms like web, iPhones and tablet devices.
Information DesignThe project was aimed at designing and depicting the information about bus routes and schedule of Gandhinagar (Gujrat) State Bus Transportation. The depicted information must provide answers to passengers basic questions related to planning a journey.
Story - Telling using different mediumsThe project was aimed at collecting stories from real life scenario and representing them in linear and non-linear narrations. Various stories at Law Garden, Ahemadabad, about the craftsmen, vendors and people were collected. The stories were then depicted non-linearly by making a panel and a movie.
