Meet the only Giant Pandas in the Southern

Hemisphere, Wang WangTM & Funi at the Adelaide Zoo. Your

tour host will provide you with an exclusive opportunity to

enter the Zoo before regular opening time and wander

through the Bamboo Forest to the Giant Panda exhibit. You

will meet the Red Pandas and see the Keeper provide their

morning feed before moving to the Giant Panda viewing area

to see Wang Wang & FuniTM being released to their day exhibit.

Learn about the bamboo, where is it sourced and how the

Zoo keeps up the supply for their daily intake. Find out other

interesting insights such as the signifi cance of the genetic

makeup of these two pandas and their importance in the

conservation of not only their own species but also of the

other species that live in their habitat.

storage facility to hear fi rst hand how the bamboo is grown,

how it is prepared and how they keep up with the Pandas

daily requirements. You will observe some of the daily training

regime for the Panda’s and get within a whisker as the

Keepers perform daily checks. A once in a lifetime opportunity

to assist the Keeper in preparing and placing the bamboo

and daily treats in Wang Wang & Funi’sTM enclosure before

Amendment FeesDue to the complexity, staff time and

process, a charge of $22 (incl GST) may
