rod systems.

Duties

Maintenance duties

Creating and following up periodic (daily, weekly and monthly) check list of electrical equipment.

Creating and upgrading maintenance schedule program of electrical facilities and equipment

including:

Transformer type: multi taps transformers

Generator type: SR4B and SR5 Caterpillar alternator which is driven by CAT3400

& 3500 Series diesel engines.

Switchgears: Schneider Blokset , ABB MNS 3.0

UPS systems (E.T.N and Schneider APC)

L.V cables: Elsewedy cables with 600V insulation voltages for different current

ampacities.

Following up maintenance schedule (monthly, Semi-annual &annual) via oracle software (or excel)

and make sure that they are correctly carried out.

Involved in allocating work orders and work permits and supervising the actual execution of work on

site.

Excellent knowledge of using testing equipment to perform PMs on several electrical equipment.

Troubleshooting duties .

Carryout the proper procedure in checking the fault with the aid of electrical diagram and manuals

and raising upset report of electrical equipment failures to my superiors to investigate root cause to

avoid constant repetition.

Using Caterpillar Electronic technician (ET) in troubleshooting testing calibrating and adjusting

caterpillar generators.

Engineering duties

Studying existing load and making load forecasting study to upgrade power source to central turbine

power plant and overhead transmission lines.

Raise & Review MOC (Management of Change) for existing installations in KPC Razzak Field

Prepared data sheet and material requisition package for Electrical Transformers, camp and mess

electrical equipment, cables, Electrical Power Distribution Center containing Switchgears, MCC

(motors controllers and protection, soft starters and VSDs), Distribution Panels, UPS, motors and

Generators.

Design Earthing Protection Systems (Designing, supplying, Installation & Testing).

Performing of Electrical Sizing Calculations & Adequacy Checks for Generators, Switchgears,

Transformers & Power Cables.

Adjusting, installing and programming with Power management system [DSE 5510, DSE8610,

Comap IC-MINT, Woodward LSM, Woodward 2301A & Woodward EPG] for controlling speed,

load shedding and load sharing between generators according to presetting sequence and protection.

Prepared One Line diagram, block diagram and schematic diagram in Autocad electrical.

Attending factory acceptance test (FAT) for various electrical installations.

Performed Load Flow, Short circuit, voltage drop calculation for AC system, harmonic and Device

coordination study in ETAP & Easy power software.
