Action Plan for Public Hearing Issues

JSL will work with state government authorities to establish the SkillDevelopment Centre where local boys and girls will be trained foremployment.

Trained staff of JSL will give training, both in class and practical.

Training will be given in the field of welding, fitters, Turner, Machinist,electricians, plumbers, riggers, automobile mechanic etc).

Nearby village women specific skill training in sewing, tailoring, cooking,horticulture, vermi-composting of garbage, food processing (papadmaking, achar making, chips, bhujia / dal mixture making) etc will beimparted to improve their livelihood skills.

2 Infrastructure

2a. Infrastructure –Facilities

JSL will work with local panchayat for rainwater harvesting structures insurrounding villages. The structures will be developed in consultationwith local panchayats as per CGWB guidelines.

JSL will work with local panchayat to clean the village ponds and itssurroundings.

JSL will work with state government authorities to make small anicuts /weirs on the nallas around the project site in consultation with irrigationdepartment to store rainwater for use in agriculture.

Green belts, parks & pavements will be developed in surrounding areasthrough local panchayat.

JSL will support renovation of nearby worship places, community halls &graveyards etc.

2b Infrastructure-Education

JSL will work with state education department for opening of newschools/renovation of existing schools in nearby villages.

JSL will Provide scholarships and study materials to economically poor

students.

JSL will contact the school administration of surrounding villages to

assess the requirement of computers, books, study materials, furniture,

building materials, safe drinking water and toilet facility.

JSL will provide the required materials through the BDO and GramPanchayat.

2c. Infrastructure -Sanitation

JSL will work with local panchayat/Municipality for sanitation andhygiene improvement, garbage collection and disposal in consultation

with local panchayat.

2d Infrastructure –Drinking Water

JSL will work with Pur village panchayat for construction of overheadwater tank for regular water supply in Pur village under National ruraldrinking water program.

2e Infrastructure –Health

JSL will allow health check-up and treatment of local population in itsown proposed occupational health centre/company hospital .People ofsurrounding villages will be given free treatment in the hospital. Freemedicines will be given to the poor people.

Regular medical camps - Cataract camps, TB Camps, Blood DonationCamps, Dental Check-up Camps, Immunization Camps, and GeneralHealth Check-up Camps will be organised in surrounding villages.

JSL will work with local administration for organising one veterinaryhealth care centre in one village.

JSL will provide service of Veterinary doctor, distribute free medicines,

other treatment include Deworming of Animals, Vaccination of Animals,

Awareness & Training for Cattle Development, Feed Supplement and

Artificial Insemination.

Lease deed of 143.14 Bigha (88.76 Acre) is attached.

Out of 88.76 Acre 48 acre land has been earmarked for this project.

Jindal Saw limited applied to Government of Rajasthan for allotment of 28.05 acres adjoininggovernment waste land for industrial purpose.

Government correspondences pertaining to 45 Bigha and 8.22 biswa (28.05 acres) landallotment is attached.

Total land requirement for the proposed integrated steel plant is 76 acre.
