He always went ahead of them to assure the victory. Hosanna’s experience has been the same. Over the years, God has provided abundant resources, raised up leaders, and blessed the people who wanted to advance His Kingdom. Because of God’s faithfulness, we can be certain that the best is just ahead. THIS WEEK’S QUESTIONS FOR FURTHER REFLECTION 1. Would you rather: Swim across a wide river or climb a large mountain? How does Jesus take the place of the Ark of the Covenant for His followers? How will we/you follow Him even more? THANKSGIVING WEEK SERMON: GIVE THANKS Over and over again in the Scriptures, believers are instructed to “give thanks.” Once we’ve had our fill of turkey and potatoes, we will be filled with gratitude as we gather and give thanks to God for His presence, purpose, and power in our lives.
