Adding a YouTube Video to PowerPoint
Presented by: Rose Kleiner, Rodney Neighbors, Gabriela Reyes and Stephanie Terry
YouTube was created by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim, three former employees of PayPal in February 2005, which was based in San Bruno California.
YouTube started as a online dating site called “Tune in Hook UP”
The reason the founders decided to rethink there idea was base on the fact that Karim was unable to find footage of Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction, as well as both Hurley and Chen were unable to share a dinner party video through email due to attachment limitations.
Summary
The founders registered the name “YouTube” on February 14, 2055, causing a problem with entertainment site “utube.”
