Need for Proposed Activities

1. Fringed with lush, verdant expanses, the banks of water body always present an enthralling ambiance.

Despite of the presence of cultural and natural resource to attract visitors, the tourism potential of this

site is under utilized.

2. The main problems to be addressed at Baur Jalashay includes Lack of facilities like accommodation,

restaurants etc.

3. The Main objectives are to be provide:

• Enhanced quality of natural & cultural tourist attractions.

• To enhance water sports of International level.

• To provide accommodation, restaurants and boat/store house.

• Livelihood opportunities at Local Community Level

• The vast expanse of water body houses enormous Varity of avian species. Thus, bird watching is also

proposed.
