SEEK TO KNOW GOD THROUGH GENERAL REVELATION

STEP ONE

General Revelation

• God created a perfect world.

• The natural world still witnesses to us God’s power and His love.

A. What can nature reveal about God? Psalm 19:1

General Revelation

B. How did God communicated with men after the fall? I Sam. 9:9

• After the fall, He communicated with them through prophets.

• These may consists of exhortations, instructions, consolations, or predictions.

SEEK TO KNOW GOD THROUGH SPECIAL REVELATION

STEP TWO

Special Revelation

• The word “inspired” means “God-breathed.”

• The Bible is the thought of God communicated to humanity.

A. How did God communicated with us through the Bible? 2 Tim 3:16

Special Revelation

• Jesus bears the complete revelation of God’s mercy and grace.

• All aspects of Jesus’ life reveal the plan of salvation

B. How did Jesus became the most perfect revelation of God to man? Matthew 4:17, 23
