RATE SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY AND DISCLAIMER
The availability of a Rate Schedule for a member is based on the member meetingqualifications of the availability clause and other terms of the Rate Schedule. RateSchedules are available upon request and it shall be the member’s responsibility to
see that he/she is charged the rate for which he/she qualifies. In some cases themember may be eligible to take service under more than one rate.
By request the Cooperative will advise the member in the selection of the rate thatwill give him/her the lowest cost of service based on information provided to theCooperative; however, the responsibility for the selection of the rate lies with themember. After the member has selected the rate under which he/she elects to takeservice, or when the type or capacity of service(s) needed requires a change toanother rate, the member will not be permitted to change from that rate to anotherrate until at least 12 months have elapsed. An exception to this elapsed timerequirement will be made if the service no longer meets the availability clause ofthe Rate Schedule. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the member to notify theCooperative of any change that affects the rate or charge for service.
No refund will be made of the difference in charges under different rates applicableto the same class of service.

The capacity of individual motors served under thisschedule shall not exceed 10 HP without prior approval of the Cooperative. Service issubject to the established rules and regulations of the Cooperative.

1. AVAILABILITYAvailable to all members who use separately metered electric energy for heating, conformingto the specifications set forth hereunder, and who are receiving service at the same location forother usages. Service is subject to the established rules and regulations of the Cooperative.
2. TYPE OF SERVICESingle- or three-phase, 60 cycles at available secondary voltage, separately metered.
3. RATEFacility Charge: $8.50 per month (second meter charge)
Energy Charge: All energy @ 9.8¢ per kWh (September – May billing periods)All energy @ 15.0¢ per kWh (June – August billing periods)
All energy @ 10.5¢ per kWh all months for X1H, X2H, and X3H rate codes.
4. MINIMUM CHARGEThe minimum monthly charge under above rate shall be the facility charge noted above.
5. POWER COST ADJUSTMENT CHARGEAny adjustment in the Cooperative’s energy cost per kilowatt-hour in accordance withchanges in the Cooperative’s wholesale power cost will be added to or deducted from themember’s current bill for electric service as appropriate.

B. Space heating equipment shall be permanently connected and as far as practicable,shall be 240 volt.
C. The minimum connected heating load shall be 5000 watts resistance-type heat.
D. Not more than 6000 watts of resistance-type space heating equipment shall becontrolled by a single thermostat or manually operated switch.

Should such measurements indicate that the power factor atthe time of the member’s maximum demand is less than 85%, the demand for billing purposes shall be the demand as indicated or recorded by the demand meter, multiplied by85%, and divided by the percent power factor.
8. BILLING YEAR AND COMBINED READINGSThe billing year shall start with the March meter reading each year. The registered kilowatt-hour usage from the October meter reading (approximately Oct 30) to the March meterreading (approximately March 31) shall be billed as a single usage for this period except in
the case of cranberry marshes and where facilities other than irrigation pumps are used. Inthese cases, billing will continue throughout the year under the terms and conditions of thisrate. Facility charges shall be billed each month, or if the member chooses the facility chargecan be billed over six billing periods from April through September. In the case of cranberrymarshes and where facilities other than irrigation pumps are used, facility charges shall be billed each month from April through March. Demand charges shall be billed whenever ademand of 10 kW or more is recorded, except as noted herein.
9. TERMS OF PAYMENTThe above rates are net. Bills not paid by the due date are subject to a late payment chargeon the unpaid balance in accordance with the Cooperative’s Service Rules & Regulations.
