Wolgarston?• Wolgarston High School is a thriving, 13-18

comprehensive serving the communities of Penkridge, Brewood, Wheaton Aston, Bishop’s Wood, Dunston and Coven. With over 800 students, including 170 in the Sixth Form, the school is both a vibrant place to be and highly successful.

• 13-18 school.• Year 9 to Year 13.• Numbers have dropped from over 850 to below 700 due to demographic changes and falling rolls.

• School overall budget down 25% in 4 years.• Redundancies year on year.• We are not a privileged school.

for comprehensive schools in Staffordshire. • We are only one of three comprehensive schools in

Staffordshire to average B- or higher for A-Level results. • We are top of the league for Value Added (how well

students did compared to how well they should do) for comprehensive schools in Staffordshire.
