BACKGROUND

Adam is a Senior Developer with broad knowledge of IT ranging from software development to database and networking. WORK EXPERIENCE

CGI – Senior Consultant Sept 2008 – Feb 2016 Project - Senior Java Developer/Analyst, Advantage, (11/01/14 -02/01/16) As Java Developer/Analyst, Adam is responsible for exploring many different aspects in the Advantage suite including CSG support, patches and client implementations. Adam is also responsible for defects and fixes in his knowledgeable areas of the Advantage suite.

Project - Senior Java Developer, NC Department of Revenue, (02/01/11 – 01/01/14)As a Java Developer for North Carolina Department of Revenue, Adam was responsible for development and maintenance of tax forms (which are based on the oracle release 3, 5 frameworks). In addition to new development of forms, Adam also coordinated with members from other teams when implementing designs across multiple areas. His responsibilities included clarifying requirements and diagnosing issues using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, XML, SQL, 4GL, e). Adam also worked with Build Leads to create and implement migration processes that allowed for the quick deployment of code from build managers being developed from Developers that was stored in in one centralized location. In addition to these rolls Adam also served as the Team Lead the Defect Management for SP. His duties included defect count management, priority, staffing assignments, weekly defect reports for management.

Project - Test Analyst, AT&T, (7/01/10 -02/01/11)As a Test Analyst on the AT&T E-commerce project, Adam worked with technical and functional stage testing to meet demanding deadlines. Adam documented defects, developed test data, created unit tests for the system and user acceptance test deliverables. Adam took the initiative to look for strategies to work through complex scenarios to assist his team members. He worked diligently to deliver on his testing expectations and worked effectively with his teammates to ensure the overall success of the project. Adam’s commitment to excellence such as the implementation of the ‘Easy Button’: A java developed testing utility that provides automated data needed to complete technical test cases. His attention to detail helped make him an asset to the team.

Project - J2EE Developer, Momentum, (09/01/08 – 07/01/10)As a J2EE Developer on the Momentum Service Release team, Adam was responsible for clarifying requirements, diagnosing issues, identifying possible solutions, implementing fixes, and documenting unit test results for problems identified in the Momentum 6.5.x, 6.4.x, 6.3.x, 6.2.x, and 6.1.x branches of the software. Adam coordinated with developers from other teams (C++, Java, Reporting, Integrations, etc.) when defect resolutions across technologies were needed. Adam also worked closely with the functional team for requirements clarification and testing assistance.

Buchanan County Commission of Revenue – Tax Assessor May 2007 – Sept 2008 As tax assessor for the county Adam was responsible for updating and maintain tax records of property in the town and county limits. Other duties included estimating new or update existing tax assessments of residential properties which where review and signed of only with final approval from Commissioner. As part of being in local office Adam also assisted with customer support for local residents.

United Coal – Warehouse Assistant Summer Inter 2006Adam was in charge of a clean-up effort to re-open a warehouse location. Job duties included cleaning/discarding all old debris and salvaging existing products. Due to the size of the project Adam was trained on Fork Lift and Bobcat equipment used to assist with clean up. Adam was also in charge of reorganizing and indexing new and existing items. Additional job task includes assisting lab department with needed help when shorthanded.

SVCC – Network/Teacher Assistant Dec 2004 – Aug 2005As a network assistant for the college Adam was put in charge of maintaining and upkeep of network equipment that would be used in classroom lab exercises. Job duties also included configuring/building any special requirements for professor’s lab exercises.

Food City – Stock Assistant/Meat Cutter Sept 2004 – July 2005While working at Food City Adam started from bag boy and quickly climbed up to meat cutter. While being offered upper management positions for stock manager or meat manager Adam declined to work on his career in IT. Job duties include working stock room, delivery trucks and stocking shelfs. As meat cutter Adam was responsible for learning all traits used to cut/prepare meat products.

Teco Coal – Lab Technician Summer Inter 2004As lab tech for Teco Adam was responsible for all coal samples for plant, strip, and train. Job duties include calibration of various equipment, reading results and logging calculations from various test and analyses. In addition to these daily duties Adam on occasion would travel to nearby plants to perform pick up or drop off runs.
