    Why were animalscreated?

    And the cattle, Hehas created them for you; in themthere is warmth (warm clothing), and

    numerous benefits, and of them youeat [al-Nahl 16:5]

    And (He has created) horses, mules

    and donkeys, for you to ride and asan adornment. And He creates(other) things of which you have no

    knowledge [al-Nahl 16:8]

    And He it is Who has subjected the sea(to you), that you eat thereof fresh tendermeat, and that you bring forth out of itornaments to wear. And you see the ships

    ploughing through it, that you may seek(thus) of His Bounty (by transporting thegoods from place to place) and that youmay be grateful[al-Nahl 16:14]

    How should we treat ouranimals?

    It was narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased withhim) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah beupon him) said: A woman entered Hell because of a catwhich she tied up and did not feed, nor did she allow it toeat of the vermin of the earth (mice).

    Narrated Salim : that Ibn Umar disliked the brandingof animals on the face. Ibn Umar said, The Prophetforbade beating (animals) on the face.(Bukhari,Book #67, Hadith #449)

    It was narrated from Jaabir ibn Abd-Allaah that a donkeywhose face had been branded passed by theProphet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), andhe said, May Allah curse the one who branded him.

    He created the heavens without

    pillars that you see and has castinto the earth firmly set mountains,

    lest it should shift with you, and

    dispersed therein from everycreature. And We sent down rainfrom the sky and made grow

    therein [plants] of every noblekind. [Al-Lokman 31:10]

    2. Bullfighting

    Bullfighting is criticized by animalrights or animal welfare activists,referring to it as a cruel or

    barbaric blood sport in which the bullsuffers severe stress and a slow,torturous death. A number of activistgroups undertake anti-bullfighting

    actions in Spain and other countries. InSpanish, opposition to bullfighting isreferred to as antitaurina.

    3. Warfare

    Military animals are creatures thathave been employed by humankind foruse in warfare. They are a specificapplication of working animals.

    Examples includes horses, dogs,dolphin and etc.

    cruelty to some animals but these varyby country and in some cases by the

    use or practice

    In Japan, the 1973 Welfare andManagement of Animals Act (amendedin 1999 and 2005) stipulates that noperson shall kill, injure, or inflictcruelty to animals without due

    course, and in particular, criminalisescruelty to all mammals, birds, andreptiles possessed by persons; as well

    as cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs,dogs, cats, pigeons, domestic rabbits,chickens, and domestic ducksregardless of whether they are in

    captivity.
