NATIONAL SECURITY A self-forming, self-healing, distributed, adaptive, mobile adhoc network (MANET) for stationary and on-the-move (OTM) communications. AD16 provides the user a high bandwidth, mobile communications solution. The network forms and operates automatically with the flip of the “on” switch (no further operator actions required). Interfaces to sensors and applications are internet protocol. AD16 has been integrated and operated on numerous vehicles and aircraft. AD16’s versatility satisfies a wide range of mission scenarios and requirements (range, bandwidth, latency), employing any combination of omni-directional or directional antennas. The adaptive self-healing features provide resilient end-to-end delivery of IP voice, video/imagery, sensor and application data over the network.
