I. WHAT DOES “GODHEAD” MEAN? C. Three Persons – One Divine Nature

Father is God (1 Cor. 8:6).Son is God (Heb. 1:8).Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4).

I.e. All three have the same attributes of Deity.

1. All knowing (Heb. 4:13).2. Eternal (Deut. 33:27).3. All powerful (Rev. 1:8).

JESUS IS JEHOVAH A. “The voice of one that crieth, Prepare ye in the wilderness the way of Jehovah; make level in the desert a highway for our God.” (Is. 40:3) “For this is he that was spoken of through Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight.” (Mt. 3:3)

John prepared the way for JESUS (Jn. 3:28)!

II. JESUS IS JEHOVAH B. “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as Jehovah hath said, and among the remnant those whom Jehovah doth call.” (Joel 2:32) “But this is that which hath been spoken through the prophet Joel… And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth,.” (Acts 2:16, 21-22)

II. JESUS IS JEHOVAH C. “Jehovah of hosts, him shall ye sanctify; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem..” (Is. 8:13-14)“…The stone which the builders rejected,

III. JESUS IS GOD A. Not the same person, but the same nature.
