Find us on Facebook! Town-Hall-Arts-Center-Youth- Theatre-Programs This hilarious musical is appropriate for actors and audiences of any age. Now with two performances, you’ll have twice the chance to get hooked on this upbeat score. So stop by Pete’s Luncheonette and see what happens! Almost Maine, Teen Play Production Camp Grades 6-12 1:00 – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, July 27 – August 7 Performances Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8 at 7 pm Directed by Robert Michael Sanders Tuition: $300 Welcome to Almost, Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States—it’s almost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist. Because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it’s just…Almost. One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same. ALMOST, MAINE: It’s love. But not quite. This collection of (mostly) comedic vignettes is perfect for actors looking to stretch their abilities and take on new challenges. The class will focus on teaching vital skills for advanced actors and serve as a great introduction for those new to the stage as they prepare for two full performances on Town Hall’s Main Stage! On-Camera Techniques Grades 4-9 10- 12 pm, Monday – Friday, August 3 – August 7 Directed by Robert Michael Sanders Tuition: $150 In this week long class we will explore the differences between live theater and on-camera performance. We will focus on commercials and scenes from favorite movies. Every student will get a chance to learn how to perform for commercials, films, and sit-com style television shows. We will learn the terminology, different styles, discuss on-camera auditions and learn the basics of agents and booking. Every student will receive a complete DVD of the class projects for their files. www.TownHallArtsCenter.org 2450 West Main Street Littleton, CO 80120 303-794-2787 x217 For questions or to register electronically contact our Education Director, Seth Maisel at [email protected] Legally Blonde, Jr. Teen Musical Production Camp Grades 6-12 1:00 – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, June 22 – July 17 No Rehearsal July 3.
