PlansGabbie Kylie has developed a long-term community training and employmentprogram focussed on conservation and land management and development oftrained Indigenous Rangers while working on the range of Gabbie Kylie projects andthroughout the DEC estate.This plan requires approval and input from DEC and long-term funding has yet to besecured.

PlansGabbie Kylie is planning to develop a long-term research programme that integrates the variouspartners and diverse fields of science and social science that will contribute to the overallsustainability of the community program while providing high-level research outcomes in a number offields. The team has been actively hosting a number of MA and PhD student projects, presented at anumber of conferences around the world and published aspects of the model and research inacademic journals.
