AQUATIC ADVENTURE IN THE PEAKS OF EUROPE


ACTIVITIES: canoeing on the river Sella and canyoning or ravines.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Medium. Initiation activities for people without experience, but with a

certain physical preparation.

RECOMMENDED MATERIAL: sports shoes, swimming suit, towel, small backpack.

DESCRIPTION ACTIVITIES:

CANOE ON THE RIVER SELLA. This activity consists in going down the river Sella in canoes

for one, two or three people. The canoes are very stable, designed for people who have never

carried out this activity. The tour has approximately 12 km and can be done in 3 or 4 hours,

although the activity will take us half a day. You can perform this activity as from 8 years old.

CANYON. We will descend the river dressed in costumes of neoprene. It is the most attractive

activity for those looking for adrenaline rush and feel the excitement of a real adventure. This

activity combines techniques of climbing and swimming. The decline will be full of excitement,

with various rappels, jumps, slides, etc. The duration of the activity is about five hours, although

the decline itself lasts between one hour and a half and two and a half hours depending on the

number of participants.

DESCRIPTION ACTIVITIES:

SPELEOLOGY: Asturias is like Gruyere cheese. Its geology is composed in its majority by

limestone rock that makes the water dissolves the rock and form natural cavities with incredible

formations. This activity consists in entering one of the many caves with a helmet. They are wild

caves, so you can enjoy the spectacular subterranean landscape with stalactites, stalagmites,

underground rivers, etc.

IN MTB TOUR ALONG THE COAST. The coast of Llanes is a real spectacle, with its cliffs,

hidden coves, jesters, caves, etc. A tour of about 20 km along a track in good condition with

hardly any gap, where we will stop a few times to visit all these phenomena, and of course if the

weather is fine, we will swim in one of these beautiful beaches.

INITIATION TO CANYONING We'll discover the Peaks of Europe from the inside. In order to do

this, we will descend down the river. In this activity, we will all be dressed with neoprene suits,

we will find natural pools, toboggans... It is an initiation activity where ropes are not needed,

very easy and fun.

CASA ALDEA HOME OF THE GARDEN House restored as village house while maintaining

the environment of those times, but with all the comfort of a hotel. It has double rooms with

bathroom, TV and heating. Large garden. Located in the village of Santa Eulalia de Llanes at 15

km from Llanes in a rural environment, for those seeking tranquility.

HOTEL FINCA LA MANSIÓN. 4 Star hotel, opened in the spring of 2006. Hotel located 800

meters from Llanes (10 minutes walk), located within a farm of 10,000 square meters garden. It

has 26 double rooms with bathroom, mini bar, TV, safe deposit box. It has a social lounge

cafeteria with fireplace. It also has an outdoor swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.

LOW MID HIGH EXTRA

HOTEL MIRACIELOS. It is a 3 star family hotel built in 1993 that has 21 fully equipped rooms. It

is located in the picturesque village of Barro, 6 Km of the town of Llanes and just 80 meters

from the beach of Barro. The Hotel has a lounge cafeteria, reading room and private parking for

customers (free of charge).

GENERAL CONDITIONS

• The Hotels Paraíso and Finca La Mansion are closed from January 1 to March 30 and

September 30 to 31 December 2012.

• The Hotel Miracielos closes from 11 to 31 December 2012.

• The single room supplement is 30 % more than the price in a double room, and is not

available in High Season and Extra season.

• The discount for 3rd person in the house of village and hotels Paraíso, Finca La Mansion Hotel

and Miracielos is 30%.
