*Activities Activities in 2019-2020: Topic: “Overseas higher education and scholarship opportunities for University students” Date &Time: 15-11-2019; 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM Venue: SES Hall, BBAU, Lucknow Conclusions: Information & Guidance Bureau organized a seminar on the above topic for the postgraduate and PhD scholars on the said date and time. The seminar was well received from the university students and they actively participated in the event. Below are the main highlights of the event: 1) Prof. Sangeeta Saxena welcomed the guests, committee members and students present in the seminar and introduced the role and functions of I&GB in the university. 2) Total 117 students from various departments of the BBAU were present in the seminar. Their name, contact details, department and feedback comments are present in the activity attendance register. 3) Mr. Anoop Agarwal proprietor of “My Mentor” had given very fruitful knowledge and information to the students. He discussed about which career students should choose at what stage of their education and how they can approach for higher education abroad. What are the limitations and opportunities present abroad for the higher education and employment. 4) He was very interactive with students by asking their choices and questions regarding their career progression. He also distributed the prizes for the best answer to the students. 5) The feedback that we received from the students is very interesting though thoughtful. Some students mentioned it as the best seminar they have attended. Some students want frequent seminars like this in our university in different subject areas. 6) Overall it was very informative and enthusiastic seminar for the students of different departments of BBAU. Dr. Ravi Kumar Gupta, convenor of the I&GB had given the vote of thanks to the guests, students and concluded the seminar. Few pictures are pasted below:

Conclusions:
Information & Guidance Bureau organized a seminar on the above topic for the
University students on the said date and time. The seminar hall was full of students from
various departments of the BBAU and they actively participated in the event. Below are
the main highlights of the event:
1) Prof. Sangeeta Saxena welcomed the dignitaries, registrar, head of the departments, committee members and students present in the seminar and introduced the role and functions of I&GB in the university.
2) Total 137 students from various departments of the BBAU were present in the seminar. Their name, contact details, department and feedback comments are present in the activity attendance register. Photos of the seminar are also attached in the file.
3) Mr. Amol Raj Dhingra and Mrs. Rochael Singh proprietor of “ADMIRE” institution had given very fruitful knowledge and information to the students. He told the students how to make decisions in their life and career, importance of communication skills and interview techniques. He told about the basic life saving techniques which are very important for every student.
4) Speakers were very interactive with students by asking questions, involving students in quick skit and speech. He also distributed the prizes for the best answer to the students.
5) The feedback that we received from the students is very interesting though thoughtful. Most of the students mentioned it very good and informative seminar. Some students want frequent seminars like this in our university in different subject areas.
6) Overall it was very informative and enthusiastic seminar for the students of different departments of BBAU. Dr. Ravi Kumar Gupta, convener of I&GB had given the vote of thanks to the guests, students and concluded the seminar.

Information and Guidance Bureau of BBAU had organised an On-line orientation program-2020
to orient the newly admitted students for the session 2020-2021. Program was started with the
welcome address by the coordinator I&GB Prof. Sangeeta Saxena and floral tribute was payed
to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Ji,after that BBAU Kulgeet was played. Coordinator welcomed the
hon’ble vice chancellor Prof. Sanjay Singh to address the students. Hon’ble vice chancellor
congratulated the newly admitted students who have cleared national level test and admitted for
the new session in BBAU. He told the students about the principles and values of Dr. Ambedkar
Ji and achievements of BBAU in the areas of academics, social responsibilities and cocurricular
activities.
Coordinator of I&GB welcomed the chief guest of the program Mr. Mukesh Meshram, IAS and
Principle secretary cultural and tourism department of U.P. He blessed the students and
suggested to self-evaluate yourself. How the students can improve their life by gaining new
knowledge and influence their neighborhood. He also suggested students to learn and practice
more for their overall development not only in study but also healthy life style by adapting simple
living and high thinking.
Coordinator of I&GB then welcomed all the officials of the university according to the minutes of
the program and asked them to enlighten the newly admitted students by the facilities and
opportunities presently available in the BBAU. Different officer in-charge blessed the students
by providing the detail instructions and information of the centers present in the BBAU such as
Students welfare, Health center, Library, NSS, Remedial coaching classes, Yoga wellness
program, Basic facility for women, USIC and placement cell.
Director IQAC Prof. D. P. Singh summaried the achievements of BBAU and suggested the
students to do best in study because they are the real ambassador of the university.
Finally, Registrar Prof. Victor Babu gave the vote of thanks to the hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Chief
guest Mr. Mukesh Meshram and all the officials of the university who participated in the
program.
