Set a goal that will motivate you – easier said than done, but before you step into the gym, you need to know why you are doing it and what you hope to achieve. Do you want to build muscle and weight? Do you want to lose weight and tone? Without knowing what you want to achieve, there is little chance that you will get it, and you will probably give up your routine before you achieve anything. It helps to have your goals in writing, so before you go to bed tonight, get a pen and piece of paper and write down exactly how you want your body to change. Tear out a picture of the way you want to look from a magazine and put it on your bathroom mirror so you can see it every day! If you achieve your goal – don’t forget to tell us. For information on how to get the best out of your time in the gym, just ask one of our instructors next time you come in for a training plan.
