Active and Passive Voice

The subject is the doer of the action.
The object is the receiver.
Subject (doer) + Verb + Object (receiver)
It follows the pattern:
Active Voice
The teacher discussed the news about Ebola virus yesterday.
The subject is the receiver of the action.
The doer is found at the end of the sentence.
Subject (receiver) + be + past participle + by + doer of the action
Passive Voice
It follows the pattern:
The movie was watched by the children last month.
To change the sentences from active to passive……just make the object the subject of the
sentence.
The flowers were sent by Bob to Jane.
Exercise No 1:
Bob sent the flowers to Jane.
Exercise No. 2
The chef prepared a meal.
A meal was prepared by the chef.
Exercise No. 3
The proposal was rejected by the manager.
The manager rejected the proposal.
