As children, all of us were dreamers — one day we wanted to be a doctor; the next an astronaut. Sadly, most people abandon the ability to dream as they grow up… but it doesn’t have to be this way.

What’s your story?Your Why is so important to starting your Vemma business because it’s what you turn into your Vemma story. Think about it. What attracted you to the Vemma products and/or opportunity?
Your story captivatingly illustrates how and why you decided to build a business with Vemma. Make it passionate, personal and include an opportunity testimonial. Speak to what people relate to and appeal to a broad audience; for example, everyone can understand the desire to spend more time with family or improve your quality of life.
Here’s an example of a story from Maria, who successfully turned her Why into an effective story to share with prospects. A single mother of three children, Maria has worked full-time for 19 years as a teacher. RoadblocksThat’s not to say that no one experiences setbacks and disappointments — even top Vemma Brand Partners have off days. But the key is not to let setbacks color your spirit.
If you run into an obstacle, turn it into a positive by asking yourself, “How can I learn from this experience?” You’ll find that roadblocks force you to find new routes that may be even better than the ones you had first envisioned. Turn to your Action Plan for guidance, too.

Practice, practice, practiceYou are your own best commodity. The wording you use when talking to prospects must be genuine, or it will sound scripted. If it sounds scripted, your prospect is less likely to take the opportunity — or you — seriously.
So don’t be shy about using your natural enthusiasm about the product. That might mean rewriting the conversations or scenarios below in your own words to best describe your message. Then practice, practice, practice. Don’t forget to smile!
LISTEN to overcome objectionsThink of an objection as an invitation for more information, not as a cue for you to stop discussing the opportunity. The more your prospects know about Vemma, the less they will have to object to! The key to helping prospects understand the opportunity is to LISTEN to their reservations.
• Listen to your prospects to understand their question(s)/concern(s).
• Identify and validate their feelings. Right or wrong, they feel this way and need clarification or guidance from you.
• Solve misunderstandings by asking questions to help clarify their question(s)/concern(s). Repeat their question(s)/concern(s) to assess your response and ensure you understood them.
• Take action. Ask lots of questions and seek your Upline’s advice to obtain additional support.
• Empathize with your prospects by showing them that you understand their question(s)/concern(s) and share your personal Vemma experience.
• Needs. Confirm that your prospect’s questions and concerns have been resolved. If not, repeat and LISTEN!
Remember, even if you get a “no,” you are one step closer to a “yes.” “No” answers are a part of this business. They aren’t saying no to you, but to their own ability to create success in this type of marketing. Your Upline team has been where you are, and is prepared to coach you through this temporary setback. So set a goal to get as many “no’s” as you can and celebrate the “yes’s!”

Setting up your officeAn organized workspace in your home helps get you focused on building your business. Consider the following business needs as you organize your workspace.

Your goal is to meet 20 to 30 people each month. The next step is to get into revenue-producing activity with Vemma Home Events. This is the fun part of the job! You’ll get to meet people and spend time with friends and family, sharing nutritionally beneficial products and an incredible opportunity.

Consistency is key!The more people you meet and share Vemma with, the faster your business can grow. Consistent activity is the key to success, and momentum is your best business partner. Similarly, activity will create momentum, and momentum will grow your business.
There are two very effective reach-out methods for introducing your prospects to Vemma:
•Holding Home Events, where you explain the opportunity.
• Sharing product samples one-on-one so he or she can try before buying.
Choose one method that works for you, or vary your approach by incorporating both. And as you use these methods, remember to attach yourself to the activity, not the outcome. Your skills and results will improve over time. Stay committed and remain consistent in your activities, and watch your business grow!
Help your team develop goalsShow your new Brand Partners that you believe in the process too! This isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme; you are putting in consistent effort over time for a payoff that could be tremendous. Seeing your goals will help illustrate this to those who aren’t as far along in the business as you are.
So share with your Brand Partners how important long-term goals are, and how to break them into smaller, more realistic goals. You all should have purchasing goals, enrollment goals, activity goals, and Home Event goals, to name a few. Write down and date each goal, and review your lists during your one-on-one accountability sessions.
A sample outline for achieving goalsHere’s how one Brand Partner set her goal of reaching the next level. Can you see how clear-cut this plan is, and how she broke each element into small, manageable tasks? If you laid out your goals in this way, how quickly could you make it to your next goal?

Attitude is still everything!Now your positive attitude is more important than ever. As you steer others toward success, keeping positive will keep your team going and maintain your Downline’s faith in your leadership.
Here are some tips for remaining positive now that you’re building your own team:
• Talk with your active Upline whenever you have issues or concerns. Any communications with your Downline should always be positive.
• Lead your Downline through actions and encouragement. Your group may avoid some of the setbacks you experienced if you use yourself as an example.
• Do the same things you’re teaching and coaching your team to do. If you’re telling your team to talk to two people a day, make sure you’re also talking to two people a day! This shows duplication and solidifies your credibility — and it begins the process of developing leverage, too.
Don’t neglect your own needsYou’ve established a Downline team of your own, but that doesn’t mean you always have all the answers. It’s important to keep in touch with your own Enroller and others in your organization: your Upline. They’re your support in helping you attain your dreams, which, in turn, helps you help your team.
Your Enroller and Upline have a vested interest in your success. Get connected and stay connected with others who are doing exactly what you’re doing. Learn from them and teach others what you’ve learned. Your network is there to support you, just as you’re there to support yours.
Put me in, coach!Think of your Vemma business as a team sport and your Enroller as your coach. How can your coach improve your game?
Review your “game plan” — your time commitments, priorities, activities, results and progress. Present it to your coach, and listen to the feedback you get. Even when you think you’ve covered everything, your coach can approach your lineup from a different point of view and offer tips based on his or her wisdom and experience.
As you keep in close touch with your Enroller and others in your organization, be sure to share your goals and/or any obstacles you may have encountered. And if one coach is good, even more can be better! Identify an Upline Diamond (or higher) as part of your coaching team, too.
Congratulations! You’ve completed Step 7.As a mentor, help your Downline set a direction and navigate any bumps, and always maintain a positive attitude. But don’t forget that you can always tap the resources of your own Upline when you run into roadblocks!

celebrate small victoriesSmall steps deserve recognition, especially when your new Brand Partner is just starting out. Take time to celebrate even minor accomplishments to show your support as an Enroller and Upline. Here are a few ideas:
•Handwrite a note of encouragement or congratulations. In this electronic age, people notice and appreciate the extra time a handwritten note takes.
•During team meetings, recognize a Brand Partner’s accomplishment of key goals. It’s a great motivator both for the honoree and the rest of the team.
•Take your Brand Partner to dinner. A social occasion is a great way to celebrate an activity or meeting a goal.

This is called a Home Event, and it is one of the very best ways to kick-start your Vemma business. Holding a Vemma Bod·ē Party or Home Event in your living room, office, clubhouse or even your kitchen provides a relaxed and comfortable environment for your first reach-out.
Remember, not every presentation has to be as elaborate as a Home Event. Reaching out to potential Brand Partners can be as simple as coffee or a lunch meeting. But a Vemma Bod·ē Party or Home Event is a great way to start. Once your first event is over, keep building relationships wherever and whenever you can. Sharing the product with people you encounter is like planting seeds that can blossom into wonderful relationships and a business that can reward your efforts and your family like no other!

How to Set Up and Host a Successful Vemma Bod·ē PartyHosting a Vemma Bod·ē Party is a great way to introduce people to the benefits of the Vemma Bod·ē products and 12-Week Transformation Plan as well as the Vemma opportunity. It’s a terrific way to reach many people at once with your story and grow your team at the same time.
People love personal settings; they feel privileged to be extended an invite and usually want to invite one or more of their friends to partake in the fun! Your Vemma Home Event is an event people should not miss. As with any event, we want to help you “plan and prepare” before your guests arrive. Refer to the following tips to help make your Vemma Bod·ē Party a success, right from the start. People will see that hosting a Vemma Bod·ē Party is worth duplicating!
Invite Your Guests
• Reach out to your contacts via email or social media and phone to send them an invitation to your Vemma Bod·ē Party. We recommend scheduling your party on a Tuesday or Thursday evening around 7 p.m. Please ask your guests to arrive 15–25 minutes before the meeting begins.
• Sending an email with “Before and After”** pictures that tell an incredible personal weight loss story is a powerful way to catch the attention of your potential guests. You can also text your guests the Chris Powell Bod·ē Party invitation video.
• Set a goal. How many people do you want at your Vemma Bod·ē Party? It’s important to over-invite. Expect about 50 percent of the people you invite to attend your party. For example, if you would like to have a minimum of five guests, plan to have at least 10 guests confirmed prior to your event.
• Consider potential disruptions in advance. The night should be free from distractions, such as children interrupting or cell phones ringing.
How to Invite
• The invitation process is very important and plays a pivotal role in the success of your event. By gathering people together to hear about the Vemma Bod·ē Plan and opportunity, you’re able to share your experience and your enthusiasm. Your excitement should pique the interest of your prospects. Confirm a Few Days before Your Vemma Bod·ē Party
• For guests attending your Vemma Bod·ē Party, remind them and confirm 1–3 days before your event. Things do come up at the last minute and people may forget.
• Call, leave a message or text them with a friendly reminder that you’re looking forward to meeting them at your Vemma Bod·ē Party on (day) and (time).
Set up Your Vemma Bod·ē Party — Keep it Simple
• Pick a location you feel comfortable in and will accommodate the number of guests attending, such as a living room, home office, clubhouse, etc. A neat, clean environment is best.
• Set up early. Arrange seating and set up slightly less chairs than the number of guests expected. You can set up more chairs if needed, but you don’t want to have empty seats.
• Play some low, appropriate music and burn a scented candle as guests arrive. Turn off the music once the presentation begins and turn it back on immediately during breaks and following the meeting.
• Set up a simple display of Vemma Bod·ē products and make sure you have enough on hand for guests to taste and take home.
• Offer snacks to your guests that are based on the Vemma Bod·ē Plan such as a delicious snack tray with almonds or pistachios, rolled turkey and cheese, and fruits and veggies. This can be a great opportunity to show your guests how delicious the foods will be when they begin their own Vemma Bod·ē Plan. Keep it simple and professional; duplication is the key.
• Have a video presentation ready. We recommend the Transform Your Life video (play each section separately with a small break in between for discussion on the concept, product and business).
• Be prepared to talk to your guests about the importance of purchasing a Vemma Bod·ē Builder Pack. A Silver Bod·ē Builder Pack will qualify new Brand Partners for the Vemma Platinum Club program, includes two four-week Transformation Packs and includes the critical Success Kit information. Soon they’ll be in business for themselves!
• Prepare registration forms for people to supply their information on the spot, so you may refer to it later for follow-up and placement strategy.
• Decide on the date for your next Vemma Bod·ē Party and create flyers with the details.
• Print out copies of the flyer and pass them out at the end of your Vemma Bod·ē Party.
Start the Party on Time — Have Fun
• Even if guests are running late, start your meeting at the scheduled time and cater to the guests who arrive on time.
• Introduce yourself, welcome your guests and briefly describe the purpose of the get together.

Plan Your Gathering
• Reach out to your top contacts via email and phone.
• Consider scheduling the Home Event on a Tuesday or Thursday evening at around 7 p.m., when most people don’t have social events or other conflicts.
• Remind your guests to arrive 15–25 minutes before the meeting begins.
• Arrange to have one of your Upline Success Coaches attend your event, so he or she may share his or her experience with the group.
• Set a goal. How many people do you want at your Home Event? You can expect a 50-percent show ratio. So plan accordingly! If you want to have a minimum of five guests, then you need to have at least 10 guests confirmed prior to the event. The more people you invite, the better chance of getting a bigger turnout.
• Decide if you will have accommodations for people who need to bring their kids. The night should be free from distractions, such as children interrupting or cell phones ringing. Saying you’re setting up a movie in another room or hiring a babysitter to keep an eye on the little ones will eliminate a common excuse for not attending.

The following defined terms apply throughout
the GPS in addition to your Brand Partner
website, Back Office and other locations.
Active — In order to be considered active,
you must be signed up on Auto-delivery with
a 60 QV minimum order every five weeks.
Platinum and above are considered active if
they have an Auto-delivery base order with
120 QV every five weeks. A 60 QV or 120 QV
order will activate your account for four (4)
volume periods including the volume week
in which the order is placed, plus one volume
week grace period. As an Active Brand
Partner you can accrue volume from sales
that occur under you in your power leg.
Applicant — An individual who has
submitted a Brand Partner Distribution
Agreement.
Auto-delivery — An optional program
that allows Brand Partners to have product
automatically shipped to them each month.
Back Office Pro — For the ultimate in
business-building tools, and for your
business at a quick glance, Vemma offers
detailed and enhanced features for a small
subscription of $19.95 per month. Some
of the features include greater genealogy
capabilities, qualification details and financial
tools to help make working your business
faster, easier and more effective.
Brand Partner/Vemma Europe Brand
Partner — an individual running a registered
business, or an organization which is not a
legal entity, or a legal entity which concludes
the Distribution Agreement with Vemma
Europe in accordance with the Regulations.
Brand Partner website — An Internet
website for Brand Partners to use, free of
charge, to promote their business. Tools
provided through the Back Office allow the
Brand Partner to customize his or her site
with personalized content and video, as well
as connect to social media sites as needed.
Business Entity — Any type of business
association authorized under the laws of the
jurisdiction in which it was organized. This
includes, but is not limited to, legally formed
corporations, partnerships, and limited-
liability companies.
Company — Vemma Europe Company.
Compensation Plan — The specific
plan used by the Company that details
the requirements and benefits of the
compensation structure for Brand Partners.
CV/QV (Reward Points) — Equal in the
Vemma plan, both CV and QV are the value
associated with the specific product that
allows you to build cycles and earn bonuses.
Distribution agreement — The contract
between the company and each Vemma
Brand Partner.
Downline — A genealogically structured
organization comprised of Brand Partners
and their Preferred Customers who are below
a Brand Partner in his or her genealogy.
Enroll (verb) — when you introduce a new
person to the Vemma opportunity and sign
them up, you are the Enroller. Your Enroller is
the person who introduced you to Vemma.
Enroller (noun) — the act of directly
recruiting another Brand Partner into his or
her Downline organization is called enrolling.
Preferred Customer — Person who
purchases products for personal
consumption but has not chosen to build
a business as a Brand Partner. Preferred
Customers may upgrade to become
Brand Partners.
Product — Any good that has volume
assigned to it and that is offered by the
Company. Sales tools and promotional
material are not included in this definition.
Qualify — Each membership must be
qualified to earn bonuses. You qualify your
membership by being active with 120 QV
Auto-delivery and personally enrolling one
Brand Partner on your left side and one
Brand Partner on your right side, each one
meeting the active requirements based on
individual rank.
Social Media Sites — The sites the Company
posts information on for Brand Partners
and Customers (e.g., Facebook.com,
Twitter.com, YouTube.com). Use these sites
as communication tools to reach out and
connect to prospects and Brand Partners in
your organization.
Upline — The Enroller and/or Brand Partners
extending upward from a Brand Partner.
Vemma Identification Number (VID) —
Vemma Brand Partners will automatically be
issued a personal and confidential Vemma
Identification Number (VID) upon sign-up.
The VID will be used for all Brand Partner
correspondence and inquiries.
Volume — A value assigned to a product for
commission purposes.
