Configuration procedure of Actelis ML6xx modems

Pre-requisites:

Laptop with MAV software

Actelis console cable

Config steps:

Connect console cable between modem craft port and laptop COM port

Open MAV, select craft

Username: admin

Password: admin

Select COM port and observe data transfer indication at bottom right

The first modem is near end and HSL-1 modem is far end modem

By default Actelis modem is R so make one modem O to start syncing

Observe HSL status

Now select Calibrate and configure parameters as below

Modem will start calibration but if less copper pairs are connected it will prompt for “Start Calib.

Anyway”

Select that button to proceed and observe progress bar

After calibration is over, verify the HSL status

Go to HSL config and enable BW restoration, also Quarantine should be checked

Verify ETH port status on both modems
