    NOTES

    02 All Butt-welded component thickness shall match pipe thickness.

    03 Threaded joints are permitted only at outlet of vent and drain valves, at hydrostatic connections, at outlet of instrument take-off valves and to matchequipment.

    05 Integrally reinforced branch connections outside the sizes shown in the branch connection tables are permitted. If applicable, weld thickness of integrallyreinforced branch connection shall be checked to determine if PWHT is required.

    06 These valves shall be used only for vent, drain, and instrument connections.

    07 These valves have no flanges, but are installed between line flanges with extra length bolts.

    08 Full port valves shall be used when indicated on the P&ID.09 Pressure and temperature may be limited for these valves. Refer to manufacturer 's recommended pressure temperature limits.

    11 Provide flat face flanges to mate to flat face equipment nozzles or other flat face flanges.

    14 Full-face gaskets shall be used at flat faced flanges.

    15 These valves shall be used when mating to flanged nozzles.

    26 To be used only when indicated on P&ID.

    62 These check valves shall be installed in horizontal position with cover up or in vertical position with upward flow.

    63 These check valves shall be installed in a horizontal position with hinge pin vertical or in a vertical position with upward flow.

    301 For use in VOC regulated services; in flanges with slightly damaged gasket seating faces; or in flanges with history of leakage.

    501 Use ASME B 16.47 Series B flanges when mating to ASME B 16.47 Series B flanges.
