The acouRoLL® Variable Acoustic Banner is a motorized retractable banner that is used to control the acoustic reverberation time of a room.

acouRoLL® BannerThe banner consists of one seamless fabric panel that forms two parallel panels. The fabric is 550g/m2 (29oz) DFR Wool Serge; available in standard or custom colors. Standard banner size is up to 60” (1.5m) wide and up to 20ft (6.1m) tall. Custom heights are available and require custom machines and configurations. Two panels can operate from one machine; height pending RW12, RW20 or RW30 configuration.

The acouRoLL® Fabric Panel is certified by an independent laboratory insuring that it has been tested in accordance with the “Sound Absorption Coefficient by Reverberation Room Method” (ASTM C423-07).

acouRoLL® MachineThe machine consists of components that are engineered to the specific size and configuration of the banner. The heavy duty aluminum frame with removable top and side infill panels is constructed to allow easy access to the motor for service.

The acouRoLL® Motor Starter is a separate assembly. Starters are typically grouped into one or more motor control panels (MCP).

Control Systems - refer to the acouTroL section for additional details• acouTroL Cambia - a simple push button controller for basic up/down operation.• acouTroL Accent - a push button controller allowing for (4) user settable preset positions for each banner.• acouTroL Symphony - a more sophisticated controller with a touchscreen for larger installations allowing group operation of banners and multiple preset ‘looks’.

The tubemotor is equipped with a fail-safe brake rated to hold the fabric panel in position. The duty cycle does not allow continuous operation.

The acouRoLL® Motor Starter is supplied as a separate assembly. Starters may be in individual cabinets or grouped into a single motor control panel (MCP).
