Pastoral care is of the greatest importance at

Acorn International Summer School and all staff

working with us are highly experienced at caring

for young children aged from 6 - 13 years. From

the minute your child is collected at the airport

until the minute they board the plane to go homeour staff will supervise everything they do.

Everyone who works for us is police checked

(DBS) and Mrs Richards, who did her nursing

training at a London teaching hospital, leads the

pastoral team.

Acorn International Summer School is pleased to be able

to offer an optional London day trip during one of its

courses for children wanting to see the famous landmarks

of the capital city! Travel direct to the city centre in the

comfort of a high speed train and see many famous sites.

From Whitehallwe walk through Trafalgar Square,

wander down The Mall arriving at Buckingham Palace

and enjoy a picnic in St James Park. In the afternoon

experience a traditional London bus ride taking in The

Tower of London, St Pauls Cathedral, Big Benand TheHouses of Parliament before crossing the Thamesover

Tower Bridge. Finish the day by catching the train back

from Kings Cross Stationwith its Harry Potter experience.

Acorns Academic programme isbased in a
