The American Club of Madrid’s original objective, when it began in 1952, was simply stated: to strengthen the bonds that unite the United States and Spain by engaging Americans and Spaniards through events and activities.Today, The American Club of Madrid (ACM) is the “go-to” organization for the International professional living in Madrid. To that end, our programming focuses on both business and social events and activities.

Our Annual Gala
With our gala, we hope to raise awareness and funds for local NGOs. These celebrations have been hosted most recently at the Ritz Hotel and the Casino de Madrid.
The Premio Puente Award
Given annually at our gala, this award recognizes individuals who have dedicated their lives to strengthening the ties and the relationships between Spain and the United States, on a variety of levels, whether corporate, philanthropic, diplomatic, artistic or scientific.Recent recipients: Baroness Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza , Antonio Garrigues Walker, and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
