The latest release of ACL™ Analytics continues the tradition of delivering powerful analysis of high volumes of data from any source, but now also revolutionizes your existing approach to analytics to make it more consumable and accessible to the rest of the organization. The delivery of Analytics 11 itself is also streamlined, with a central place to login now available, known as the Launchpad, which provides self-service access and a single point of administration. By enabling four key capabilities, Analytics 11 allows data analytics to be better utilized by a broader audience. 1. Accelerate performance with enhanced script development and supercharged analytics engine With constantly increasing data volumes, although analytical capabilities are important, its underlying performance is equally crucial. The robustness and reliability of the ACL Analytics engine continues to be enhanced to deliver the fast performance that customers need for high volume data analysis. Scripting enhancements also help accelerate performance to produce faster results. ■ ■ Increased analytic engine performance through new optimizations and a new parallel sorting algorithm that utilizes multiple processing threads for higher throughput. ■ ■ 2GB limitation has been removed for Indexes, Command Logs and temporary project (.AC) files. ■ ■ New commands and functions added: ■ » SAVE LAYOUT, IMPORT LAYOUT, EXPORT JSON ■ » PROPERTIES(), GETOPTIONS(), HASH(), REXFIND(), REXREPLACE() ■ ■ Expanded functionality as Classify, Stratify, Age and Summarize now provide min, max and average for each subtotal value ■ ■ Easier scripting with the editor providing code auto-complete and syntax help for functions. ■ ■ Faster development and execution of analytics with a new analytic header validation tool and ability to run an analytic with test values within an ACL Project. ■ ■ Leverage scripting expertise and best practices with ScriptHub (1) , an online repository of ACL scripts (1) Available as a bonus feature on a trial basis – please speak to your ACL Sales Representative or ACL Partner for more information. 4. Quickly take action to remediate issues Once issues have been identified, closure can’t really be reached until an action is determined on how to remediate the issue. With Analytics 11, users can “close the loop” on analysis efforts by easily notifying offenders and requesting action for remediation.
