AcknowledgementPerhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece; if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you prayed a sincere prayer or came to pay
a call. Perhaps you sang a cheerful song; if so, we heard it all. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friend could say. Perhaps you prepared a tasty dish,
or maybe furnished a car. Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, near at hand or from afar. Whatever you did to console our hearts, by word or deed or touch, whatever was the kindly part, we thank you, oh so very much. We just want to
say thank you.

Life RefelctionsCornelius Peck, Jr. (CJ) was born to the parentage of Cornelius Peck and Doretha Lee Peck on August 14, 1981. CJ passed away on July 15, 2018, at the age of 36. CJ graduated from high school and furthered his education at Texas A &M of Commerce where he received a degree in Criminal Justice. He worked at Walmart as a Photo Lab Specialist; at Texas Youth Commission as a Juvenile Detention Officer II & Star Team Member; Bright Star Youth Academy as a Direct Care Coordinator; Frontline Protective Service, Dallas, TX as a Level III Commissioned Armed Officer; and Springs of Recovery as a Therapeutic Correctional Officer.
CJ started his Masonic journey with King David Lodge #151 P.H.A. on September 17, 2002. He also was a member of Mystic Tie #3, H.R.A.M., and Trinity Commandery #3, KT. CJ was a part of the Scottish Rite degrees as he served as a member of Dale Consistory #31 A.A.S.R. P.H.A. Currently he was serving as Senior Warden and reactivating as a charter member of the Historic Gilbert Grove Lodge No. 263 P.H.A. With Gilbert Grove he was instrumental in establishing mentoring programs in Irving I.S.D., feeding the homeless with the Helping Hands, and volunteering at the La Buena Vida Boys group home. One of his most significant accomplishments was getting Gilbert Grove Lodge No. 263 back in its rightful home in the Bear Creek Community. The brothers of Gilbert Grove expressed the joy, love and passion he felt just to meet in their home. One of the last statements he made was that his heart was full, and let’s continue to do great work for the lodge and serve the community.
CJ leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Cornelius and Doretha Peck; wife of 16 years, Aderiana Peck; one son, Cornelius Peck III; two daughters, Kenya and Cicily Peck; stepson, Xavier Wiley; sister, Roshonda Peck; three special nieces, Jasmyne, Alexus, and Dra’dasha Peck; two grandmothers, Dorothy May Lee and Rosie Lee Peck; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins who loved him dearly.
His grandfathers preceded him in death.

Tribute
My heart is so broken that words can’t explain. You
were my life and now you are gone. I looked out for
you your entire life and I wasn’t able to protect you
from the one thing you loved. Please rest in peace,
and I hope that you didn’t suffer. You will always be
the love of my life.
Love Always,
Your RO
